Well, I threw a code to where it said the front O2 sensors needed replacement and I did that.

Later the CES light came back on and I took my Z back to my mechanic. He said that the head gasket is leaking coolant and the right side cat bracket is broken. I also saw the right side cat was dented and scraped. That cat damage was not from me.

So, I took it into the dealer and got a rental from them (Versa). They called me later and said that...

1. Head gasket leak will be taken care of via my extended warranty.

2. Cat will be replace via my extended warranty.

3. TSB... steering wheel lock will be replaced.

4. Alignment needed.

That steering wheel lock, I already had it fixed last year, but they said now there is a NEW TSB for that. They will take care of it for me.

So, all in all, I need to pay a $50 deductible for all the work, minus the alignment, but I can take care of the alignment with Wheel Works, since it's still under warranty

I'm very fortunate in this regard.

Notice to spread the word... that TSB for the steering wheel lock mechanism... for those of you that had to pay $1300, maybe you can get that reimbursed. BTW, my Z is a 2009.
