I got my cruise working also with 4.08 gears. I got a CEL, but when Seb@Specialty Z set the ECU to not throw a CEL for that particular code and a by-product was my cruise started working. Another member tried the same thing after I told him, but he said it didn't work for him so I guess YMMV.
