Chris,
If the crank pulley is underdriven, everything on the belt is underdriven. They offer an alternator pulley to offset that difference for the alternator, but not for the PS pump. Hence my question. |

If you only installed the Underdriven crank pulley, and not the overdriven alternator pulley, yes the entire system would be underdriven. This is the point behind overdriving the alternator pulley.

They overdrive the alternator so that your voltages don't drop |

Hmm, then my understanding of the belts/pulleys is all fuq'd up.

Under-driving the crank pulley (the one doing the work) decreases the belt speed. Each individual accessory would need its own undersized (over driven) pulley to compensate for that fact.

In that case, I've had my pulleys on for going on almost 35k mi now, and have had no problems with PS or voltage or coolant flow/temps.

I received my kit last week. My main concern would be looking forward to the rev increase. As i know this motor climbs under my expectations a whole lot. Any little increase would make me feel somewhat relieved. Least faster then the slow setting on my wipers blades. Lol
Works getting done @ RT this weds. I'll let u guys know how I make out. |

Been trying to contact NST as well with no response. I find this very unprofessional. How can I contact NST.
I see them active on facebook. I don't get it

It took me 2 months to get mine. They sell them faster than they make them.

That doesn't surprise me. I picked my clutch and flywheel from NST. It's not a huge operation. I can't imagine more than a few people work there.
