the one i currently have on it is a six rib and it is perfect size... maybe just slightly too big the one i just got dilivered is a K070786 Gates Micro-V AT and soon as im done installing this short shifter im pulling off the skid plate and tensioner and installing the new belt... altho beware the belt is a reinforced belt and lists for 64 bucks... i got mine for 28 shop cost which is still alot for a belt imo

I was looking at the K070786, also. Please let me know how it fits. Did you put on the alternator pulley?

so i got the new belt on and its perfect within spec and everything... and yes i have the alt pulley on it also.

well tyvm nst for the pulleys i do like them they work as good as they should but for further 370z customers i would either recommend to them a new belt or sell them one with the kit... i have pics but cant put them up till im home this cell phone is a pos... BTW Thanks for the package of m&ms with the pulleys they helped me through the install :-P

Mine were peanut. Is changing the belt a two man operation or can it be done by one?
How do you hold the auto tensioner back? Thanks.

ya mine were also peanut which is cool since thats my fave...
and the tensioner thing i did it myself from underneath the car and it took some maneuvering to get it on but i would polly recommend two people one up top the other below... makes it easier for the ac compressor and pas pump

OK, how hard of an install is this guys? I've called around and gotten prices for installation from two places. One for $150 and one for $240... both of which I think are a little high considering that from what I've read that this is about a 1.5 hour job with the right tools.

I'm not a mechanic so I don't know that I'd be able to do it on my own, but I don't want to feel like I'm getting gouged on it either.

Any feedback or information would be great.

I paid the mechanics 1.5 hours worth although they took a little longer. Must remove the starter and the alternator.

I had Cobb in Plano Tx install one for me this morning. It was 1.5 hours @ $85.00 per hour or $127.50. Probably took an hour to do.

Denny,

Thanks for the info. Did you do just the underdrive pulley or both? I have heard that if you do the alternator pulley, it's best if they remove the alternator to do it.

Damn that makes me glad I install all my own stuff, by the time i have my headers, testpipes, and intake on I will have saved enough money to buy like three sets of these.

Edit: oh and RCZ you could always run the underdrive crank pulley and go for the next level up boost pulley for a supercharger, thats what i ran on my beretta and they were sized so i was actually making a pound more boost than before

Don't hate me....... Because I'm pretty and also that I had the the Stillen pulley installed using the stock alternator pulley. Frankly I have real issues with Stillen over the exhaust system that took me a month to finally make work so it didn't bang or rattle with zero Stillen support. However, ate crow and bought theirs anyway. Wanted the 20% under drive vs 10%. Does 20% vs 10% really make a differenc.....hell, I don't know.

After the header install fiasco, I was glad as hell to pay someone to install the pulley as I don't have the right pulley puller and it's a hell of a lot easier on a hoist vs flat on your back. Turns out Cobb didn't have the right pully puller either but got lucky and used two screw drivers to pry it off.
