Okay, I'm impatient and have read through most of this thread so you can nix my questions about install time and gains/feel.

I am still wondering though if it comes with install directions.

Also, will my car being a 7at make any difference in the effects of the pulleys on drive feel and throttle response that most people are reporting as a big benefit of the pulleys?

I have sen varying reports of MPG gain ranging from .2 to 2mpg. Can people chime in with what kind of mpg improvements they have experienced?

Sorry for the multiple posts and thanks a lot!

Also, is this a pretty standard install for a mechanic or if it's more specialized, cna anyone recommend a good place for it in southern California?

Thanks!

When I get mine, Amplified will do my install.

Amplified Motorsports in Monetery Park? I'm right by MP on weekends.

370Z JT 11-25-2011 09:55 PM

Yea them. They've done all my installs that I can't do myself.

Cool, I just looked them up after Triples mentioned them and discovered they are close to me. Do they have good rates for labor?

370Z JT 11-25-2011 09:59 PM

Yup probably the cheapest rate you will find. That's why I always come back to them.

Thank you for the interest and the inquiries, much appreciated.

Yes, the gains are present and visible on auto and manual cars.

Gains in MPG are present and vary based on your driving style.
Keep your driving habits the same as before and you will see anywhere from 1-2 MPG increase.

Most shops will charge 1 to 2 hours in labor and you will need to use the shorter belt that we list on our website.
This belt is intended for use with our pulley kit.

Feel free to contact us by phone Mon through Fri and we would be happy to answer any questions in full detail.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the reply. I will probably order early next year since I just had CBE, HFCs installed and am getting an Uprev tune. Spent a bit of money on all that and also want some time to drive with those mods to better appreciate and gauge the differences when I get your pulley kit.

Looks like your questions got answered brucelidat, but just echoing Mike, the shift in mpg will be enitirely dependent upon your driving style and the type of driving you do. If it is a lot of city driving with stop and go, I would not expect much help if any from these pulleys. If it is exclusively highway, they can be good for a nice 2 mpg. Mixtures in between will give you a result within that range. :tiphat:

ill speak as to quality and ease of installation, everything fit well with no issues and the quality was definitely there, as to the performance i couldnt tell due to the fact i installed them at the same time as my turbo install, but im sure i got something out of it :p

Thank you for the kind words, much appreciated. And you definitely did gain some performance...
even if it was overshadowed by your new turbo kit!

Best of luck with all your future projects!

Couple questions.

Earlier in this epic thread, some issues with the stock belt were brought up. I see now on your web site that you offer a belt option, so does that mean I need that belt, or will the stock one work ?

Also the shopping cart does not provide an option to select what color I want ? I don't see how you select whether you want under or over alternator option with the kit as well.
