My Z is in storage in my garage until spring. I'm in Chicago and we have a heat wave at the moment, 28F. We also have a snow storm expected to dump up to 6" of snow. |

You will be fine. This is what I am currently running with no issues (no tune).

They are all correct. Your car will run just fine with the STILLEN Gen3's and Cat-Back Exhaust. If you add on Headers and HFC's (or Test Pipes) you should get a tune. A tune on the setup you talked about though will help it run at its best but it is not necessary.
Contact me directly here at STILLEN if you are planning on picking up those parts. I'll see what kind of deal I can get you :) |
nissan dealer
can a nissan dealer install these hi-performance parts on the z and also tune the engine perfectly?;)
|

Better to probably solicit suggestions for local shops from local Nissan, forum or Z car club members depending on where you are located.

With our crapptastic 91 octane gas in CA it is a good idea. Car will knock every once in a while if I don't add some 100 at the track. For daily driven, might not be so big of a deal. But I can definitely tell I am on the edge of lean if I just run 91 at the track. I get a knock every once in a while on the straights at Big Willow and AAA if I don't add some of the good stuff. I have just a Gen 2 stillen and Berk HFC's +Catback. |
