New part in the works.

I can make it out of aluminum but it wont have all those 3d bends in it. My press brake is fairly small in comparison.

Hmmm, that might be a problem because I believe that is where the plate meets the subframe… I'll have to check later.

On the strut bar you might be able to take some design aspects from top secret on theirs, picture for reference.

Strut bar would be pretty cool. If it was designed to work with the new intake plenum, or if the new intake plenum would work with the stock one, that would be tits.

All this progress is making me too excited.

AZ, with that reservoir, how will you check fluid levels? I'm hoping there will be a window somewhere?

Next in line is the 370z oil pan. Who wants to let us borrow your car for development? in return we will give you a cnc cut oil pan that has a larger capacity and we will of course do all of the install for free.

I would estimate having your car for a week possibly 2 weeks. If you havent been to our facility yet I would encourage you to stop by anytime and take a look at whats going on!

as it stands right now, just open the lid and look. when your car gets low on fluid there are sensors in place for that, same for over heating, low oil, etc...

its no easier to check on a stock one than it is to open the lid and peek inside.

Well the stock one is plastic, and translucent, so you don't have to open the cap...

Point being, much like a dipstick and PS/Brake fluid reservoirs, it's nice to be able to just eyeball fluid levels while doing a mx check.

Not trying to hate on the part, they look really awesome, and I'd like to just have the metal caps honestly.

I have an idea for the sight glass but i dont know if it will work just yet. It will be an option to choose during checkout and might be delayed a few weeks after the initial release.

I don't know if this would work with our cramped engine bay, but you could do something similar to this:

As seen here for an S14: Circuit Sports Aluminum Coolant Reserve Tank CRT-S14S-GD - 240SX S14

I pesonally HATE those things...they look so tacky and crap sticks in the crevices over time...its just a terrible terrible option made with super cheap components.

another problem is this...take a look at the stock tank fitted in the engine bay...where would you put a sight glass that you could easily view? the stock tick marks are on the very inside of the engine bay facing the rear of the car...hardly able to see it as it is.

I know looking at a glance would be "fun" but taking off a cap and peeking inside really shouldnt be an issue...less of an issue than checking tire pressure or checking the oil.

On this product, the threads are 33mmx3.0mm very coarse threads, approx 2.5 full turns for on/off.

^ Yes that would look good too if you make a matching oil catch can set. Of course use some nicer fittings.

I completely understand your reasoning, I'm not trying to argue with you. Just trying to figure out how to make it "idiot-proof".

Just something else I came across that might interest you:

TIG Welded Aluminum Evacuation Tank Kit - Media Share - GT-R Life

Not gonna lie, I'd like an oil catch can, and a 2 in 1 would be pretty
