Default Some issues in my new(used) 370z

Hey all, first post! I've owned 4 350z's and put twins in one of them, I love this platform! I finally pulled the trigger and got a 370z. It's a completely different car (Especially the super picky clutch), but I definitely love driving it as I get more and more time behind the wheel. Now for some issues I've encountered that I didn't find much on this forum or anywhere else about.

Car will stall when I start it warm. For example, I'll get in the car and start it to go to the store, starts fine no problems. Get to the store, do my thing and leave. When I get in to start the car (and its anything but dead stop cold), it will start and before it settles into idle, it will sputter and die, or almost die. I have to feed it a little throttle to get over the little "hump". After that it's completely fine, no signs of any trouble what-soever. Any ideas?

Back right wheel making a scraping noise that sounds like a failing wheel bearing. I had one go bad in my 350z, but its lacking any symptoms besides a strange metallic grinding noise that is rotational in nature. I don't believe there are problems with the brakes, as the sound does not get worse/better/change when I use the brakes. Anyone encountered anything like this?

thanks for the input or feedback guys!

These topics I believe have been talked about on here. I just don’t really recall what they exactly are since I have never experienced them. The rear noise is due to lack of grease and is covered under warranty I believe per Nissan bulletin. The startup issue is due to starting up to quickly…….something not settling…..I’m not 100% sure. I’m sure somebody will reply that is more knowledgeable or has experienced these troubles. A little about your car though where did you get it from dealer , private party? How many miles? You may still be covered under warranty if your an 11 like I am.

Thanks for the reply. I bought it from a dealer, 43k, still covered

The rear noise isnt the clicking. I know what that sounds like, this car had it and I actually got it fixed under warranty last week (hurray!). This is a cyclic grinding sound that I can hear when i drive near a curb or a wall.

I read something about starting too quickly, so recently I've been trying to turn the car ON and then letting the 3 beeps go, then starting. Still stalls

My only suggestion is to take it in. 43k for the Z should be trouble free. If that dealer gives you push back take it to another or cause a scene.

only thing OP ive run into about the warm start issue has to do with un burnt fuel vapor or something along those lines.

and yea the axle click isnt the same as the OP is talking about. it sounds like a wheel bearing.

Would a failed wheel bearing be covered under warranty?

possible.....

even if they arnt i dont think the price is all that bad for each one. you could swap it out when you put on new rotors or spacers.
