I'd look into pricing on an uprev tune, especially if you eventually do things like intake or exhaust. Even without that, a tune should net a little more power and torque -- but more importantly you can: 1. Vastly improve throttle response (notoriously boggy on this car due to laggy fly-by-wire system) 2. Speed and firm up shifts -- no need for any change to the trans valve body; a tune can do it on this car. 3. Raise rev limit -- again, I'm not sure it will change the automatic shift points in D when you go WOT, but it will allow you to manually shift a bit higher with the paddles or stick when the trans is in M mode. 4. Turn the radiator fan on full blast sooner to keep the engine running a little cooler under load, which will also result in the ECU allowing more ignition advance and better responsiveness. These four changes to the tune with Uprev will greatly improve overall driveability and responsiveness even without any bolt-ons. Have fun!

I also won the bolt on class in the 1st. Atco Nissan meet in 2012. 350's 370's & infinities. It was the largest class. Now I respected ALL the racers & admired how hard they tried & professional they were, as well as very nice, but the truth was that most of the time I was just playing & having fun. I also did well at the Island Niss. meet & got trophies for competing in bracket racing. So I do know most things that have to do with drag racing. You were very nice to try & help me, but I was only interested in the question that I posted. I'm new to automatic transmissions. I do know what the letters D & R stand for Don't be mad & thank you again. My car had stock intakes & stock exhaust except for test pipes. It was seen by several car shops & was always open at the track so people could see everything or anything. Last edited by andre12031948; 11-19-2013 at 06:54 PM. |
