2) We should ONLY talk about 07/08/ HR's because DE's had passenger car's engines TRUTH!!! & it's not honest to put them in the mix. 3) is for the above^^^^^poster. You didn't read my posts because if you had you would know that even with my car running STOCK intakes, STOCK Nissan exhaust, minus cats. you/your car would have to go UNDER 12.4's to beat that car!!!! My car was at & looked at 4 top car shops & always hood open at the track & was inspected by many. It was a VERY MILDLY MODED! + slicks.... |

Single intake, low flow headers, plain Jane cams/heads & a weak bottom end. Truck/car, it was a V-6 put into a sports car. It was a good idea then, but could not compete with newer combinations. |

I kind of like the HR. Seen it inside. Very beefy rods. Super tough main bearing/crankshaft design, & the cams/heads are perfect for what it was build for. It's NOT an LS or Ford v-8 in H.P. but revs smooth with power in all rpm rangers & impossible to kill in N/A form. Love that engine for what it is/build for

I have never had an issue with high rpm vibration, dont know what that is but i can tell you the hr runs just as hot as the vhr you just dont have an oil temp guage in the 350

Because the 350 has no temp sensor there is no limp mode for high oil temps. So it "wasn't a problem" before

The hr's had the water oil cooler installed from the factory too. And after adding it in '12 the vhr has much less issues with temps.
