Oil temp gauge install question?

Someone want to interpret this for me, makes no sence. Bottom half says temp gauge. Left says white to white and black to black but no mention of the green

Someone want to interpret this for me, makes no sence. Bottom half says temp gauge. Left says white to white and black to black but no mention of the green wire on the right saying temp sensor. But the sending unit has 2 wires. Above for oil pressure tells you how to run the wires so day can be white and night can be amber but then you're using those wire on the bottom for something else? I ***** hate electric bull **! __________________ 13 370z-
