I know everyone has there prefences on what oil filter is better and what's trash but keep this in mind if you follow the recomended oil changes that nissan recomends there aren't going to be any issues. Now if you do your own oil changes and decide to use an non nissan oil filter and that happens to fail don't cry when the dealer wont repair it under warranty but if you decide to use the nissan brand and it fails there isn't going to be an issue. just my two cents. and I know what are the odds.

Using your own maintenance schedule...well, they can deny a claim based on that easily enough...but, using a different brand of oil filter isn't something they can stand on. |

Likewise if you have an aftermarket oil filter and it bursts causing oil loss and engine damage, then the part you used actually was the cause of the damage and probably wouldn't be warranted. That being said, I doubt a high quality oil filter like some of the ones mentioned would actually burst but it does happen on occasion. |

Some owners are using the K&N HP-1010 which is longer that the HP-1008 but seems to fit fine. You should be able to find these for $9.00 on the web.

I personally use the Mobil1 Extended Performance oil filter. I have a 2011 Sport Touring. You can get a pack of two for $25 off of amazon, a single one cost, you guessed it...half of that...like $13. Pretty sure it should fit your 370Z regardless of the year...but if you do look it up on Amazon...it'll let you put your vehicle info in to ensure that it fits. Part number is M1-108 Just type that in on the search bar...or in the Google machine. Hope that helps ya man
