You may have to give a little more info than that! Do U have gear-noise on the road, if so, in all or some ranges. Do U let the clutch out slow or are U dumpin g it to make that noise. I think U should check your oil level and/or for metallic on magnet (drainplug). If it's your clutch, it could be the damper springs collapsed in the disc. U under warranty still!

It could be possible that your throw out bearing may be worn or going out. I've tried listening to the video at different sound levels and my mind keeps coming back to the throw out bearing. Do you have any symptoms with the clutch pedal (sticking or spongy)? Trouble engaging or releasing?

I hear the same thing on mine when I let off the clutch. I read somewhere here that it's normal?

I'd like to know myself so I can fix the issue if it's a problem.

If there is a video posted I can’t see it here at work. But our transmissions make NOISE period. Like really bad noise. when foot is off the clutch you will hear rumbling. Especially after being ruff with it and parking your car with the windows down just hearing it before turning off. Its normal to hear noises from the transmission.

I am not sure it a throwout bearing because when those typically fail, they'll cause a rattling sound that goes away with pushing in the clutch. Clunk could be caused by transmission mounts being lose. Hard to tell without more information or symptoms.

I have noticed the clutch seems quieter with the clutch pedal engaged (pushed in). I hear pretty much exactly what is in your video when I let off the clutch after starting up the car (a clunk and then a rattling that's less noticeable with the clutch pedal depressed). I don't hear it while driving (it doesn't get louder). It's normal to me at this point (40K+ miles).

I almost always drive with the windows down and everything sounds so much louder in my garage when starting her up or shutting her down.

True. I think it's closure. Noise bouncing off the walls.

Precisely.

I will also add that the "clunk" seems to be relative to the speed at which you release the clutch pedal. If you dump the clutch, I expect it will clunk quite loudly. I just tested it this since my last post and when I release it fairly quick, it makes a noticeable clunk, while releasing it slowly does not clunk at all. I would it think it best to avoid making it clunk like this.
