I don't think anyone definitively knows. The short approximate answer is that it will probably handle bolt-ons fine, but you may need some serious internals upgrades to handle FI.

For those who haven't build cars up, you may not understand the question so I can see where some of the responses come from. Here's your chance to learn...every single auto tranny has a limitation on how much power it can handle. In a manual car your clutch has a limit as well which is why people upgrade the pressure plates/clutch etc..etc...
The smart thing to do is figure out what that number is. I'm sure the standard bolt-ons are fine, I am curious as to where the limitation is. I'm sure as cars are tuned and built up some of the shops will realize what this limit is which is why I put the question out there. It's always good to know how far you can go with your car before you have to upgrade certain components.

I think the same tranny is used in the FX45 and if so, it handles 390 HP in that application. Assuming an engineering cushion, I'd say it should handle mid 400's minimum. The older 5AT in the 350Z's was good to just over 400 whp before you needed mods.

Agreed^^ I would think 400whp before you would need to do some mods to the tranny

Not sure what you're talking about. Along with the torque converter you also need to have the tranny built as well when you're pushing higher numbers. It's not as simple as only upgrading the torque converter
Anyhow, going by what others said, I'll use the 400RWHP as a guide.
