Check Engine Light After Spark Plugs And TB Cleaning
So the title pretty much covers it. My "check engine soon" light came on after I cleaned the TB's and replaced the spark plugs with new OEM ones (shout-out to SS_Firehawk for the spark plugs). Is there a way to clear it, or should I check to see if it threw a code?
Car is running better than ever. Seriously it feels like a new car. I recommend a TB clean asap if you haven't done one yet. |
I would pull the code before resetting

Did u perform the "THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED POSITION LEARNING"?
Did u perform the "MIXTURE RATIO SELF-LEARNING VALUE CLEAR"? I'm also hoping you already checked for vac leaks on your Ntake tubes and TB gaskets as well. Did you re-use the TB gaskets? FSM says not to re-use 'em, though if you're a gambler, why not try it:confused: |
