Default Brand new car - oil question

Hey guys got a quick question,

Just got my car today finally, I ordered it back in March.

The dealer said it comes with oil in it from the factory in japan. When I drove it around and back to my house, i kinda smelled a burning smell. I checked the oil and I see it on the dipstick. However it is very thin and very clear. Is this how the oil from nissan is, really thin and clear? Just dont wanna blow up my engine because of no oil.

I have changed oil on other cars before and tested the dipstick, this is just a little different.

sorry for the newb question, dont wanna ruin a good thing haha

Rob
