7AT Dealer Flush/Refill

I know this has been discussed at great length on the forum about servicing the automatic transmission in the 370z. As previously stated, it is typically a nonserviceable or non-required maintenance aspect of maintaining the Z's performance. However, if chosen to follow through with it, the procedure appears fairly complicated to perform by yourself.

I just figured I would make a post about my experience at Gainesville Nissan, in case anyone else was curious about having this done. A notation - I recently installed a stillen tranny cooler and lost a small amount of fluid during the install, which prompted my desire to have the service done.

I scheduled an appointment for 7:30 and left the dealer close to 9, everything was a success and the fluid change was done successfully, although I was initially quoted as 45 minute job, I figured otherwise.

Total price tally only netted me 191$, not bad in my opinion considering the tedious work required with the Consult tool. Not to mention giving me the peace of mind that my fluid is now back to optimum.

A few other things worth mentioning:

2009 Base Model 7 AT with 58k miles. Just street use, no real abuse of the transmission besides the occasional thrill of punching it.

Hopefully this post helps others if they have any concerns with the maintenance being done, as I know it has been a common question on here.

indeed at my 30k service primarily because of the track use I had this done as well at the dealer.
