Clutch
For those of you who have had their car for a while now - curious how long your clutch lasted. I'm at about 60K and its starting to show signs of giving way.

is that the clutch or csc?

If you drive it properly, I'm sure the OEM clutch can easily last more than 100k. My dad has a manual Tacoma and he's at 200k with factory clutch.
If your Z is showing sign of wear at only 60k, I think you're using up too much clutch. Is the Z your first manual car? |

I know there is a forum member in a 2009 with over 100K miles (I think he's around 110K now) and still on the stock clutch.
However, I drive hard enough that I would not expect that kind of life. 60K-80K is about what I expect, although at the first sign of problems (whether it be the CSC or CMC or clutch itself), I plan to replace the entire clutch system with aftermarket parts. |
I pulled the cutch from my 350z at 80k, it was not slippping but it was almost gone, and these miles were hard, I beat the living you know what out of that car. I pulled the clutch from my 370z at 15k haha, its like new.
