Default Uprev vs Tune Shop

I started looking a tuning options and would like some help clarifying my understanding.

It seems to me that the advantage of Uprev (Osiris Standard) is that you don't have to pay $500-$600 to retune. It looks like it is $500 for the software and then $50 a tune. ?

Are the tunes you can get with Osiris Standard as good, or pretty close?

Thanks.
