If that's what your looking for is just a car that runs don't even think about touching the internals cause they are not even close to just popping the valve covers off and swapping cams. I have the poly engine mounts and trans mount and I love them but there is a little more vibration but the engine is a lot more stable I will say that

I just want to do whatever mods I can for the cheap or almost built in labor I have right now. At this point I'm not sold on the headers, but I'll leave this thread open for future reference and if anyone can comment and give results. But lets stay on topic

I will be in Hawaii in oct so when I get there I will be getting my car dyno tuned. Then you have the actual results. Be advised that I have built heads as well.

How does an exhaust cam increase HP/TQ?

The exhaust side has to be proportional to the intake to some degree. Volume plus expansion that comes in also has to go out. If not enough lift on the valves on the exhaust side it will choke out. The higher the exhaust valves lift during the exhaust cycle the more that can exit.

B) PPE headers are LTHs C) I'd rather stab needles in my còck over buying any TS exhaust product. I'd MUCH rather buy Megab racing

... It's SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS... That's about 1000 times less cost effective than the cams

I have heard some good things about the top speed exhaust and the header review I read had nothing but good things to say about their headers. I have to find the thread about the headers online but that shouldn't be too hard. I'll post a link here when I find them . EDIT found one of the threads I read. Top Speed Headers Installed! - 6MT.net Infiniti G35/G37/GTR Forums

I wonder the same thing. I am considering changing cams and cam gears to adjustable cam gears for better timing adjustment. But all i see for responses are either "not worth it" or change everything while you are in there. Does anyone have any solid numbers otyer than reasons to deter the upgrade? Is there more torque throughout the curve, 2hp gain on the top, more hp throughout the curve, etc? What are the solud numbers please?
