God damn it, I tried to shift and went from D to N.
How bad did I mess the car up? I went from D to N at about 40km when I wanted to make a left turn, I quickly let go of the throttle and popped it back to D right away.
I'm still breaking in the car and only has 1.3km. |

Should have done zero damage. It doesn't bother the transmission and the rev limiter will protect the engine if you don't get off the throttle fast enough. Embarrassing to you but not damaging to the car unless you leave your right foot on the floor or pop it back into gear at high revs.

My response as in a similar thread.......If you farted, sneezed, scratched your butt, scratched yourself then touch something in the car and left skin cells, you probably did less damage.

D to N is fine. There's a reason why it can be shifted into it without having to press the unlock button on the shifter. But going back to D is like a neutral drop haha.

Going from D to N would not be a problem......You could completely stuff the transmission by going from N to D though. Contrary to some morons beliefs, that is NOT the way to do AT burnouts! :P
