Thing just went tits up! Not really any warning. Was driving then it started loosing clutch pedal pressure. I have had this happen in other cars in the past so

Clutch Slave cylinder broke @ 22K
Thing just went tits up! Not really any warning. Was driving then it started loosing clutch pedal pressure. I have had this happen in other cars in the past so just pumped.... got some pressure back... kept my foot on the pedal to keep the pressure there... opened the reservoir and it was nasty. Added some fluid since I was on the road on the way back (2 hour drive). Took it to the dealer and they had it for 3 days. Replaced slave and new fluid. A little shocked to say the least. Did I boil the fluid? I have AUTOX'd the car a few times and I drive it pretty solid... any thoughts?
