Oil temp A/C garage?

Hey all my Z sleeps in my A/C garage, and the temp is at 68F will it be ok to let that cold oil hit the warm motor when the thermostat opens from the oil cooler?

The thermostat on the oil cooler sandwich plate does not completely shutoff oil flow to the cooler for the exact reason that you're concerned about. There's always a small amount of oil circulating even when the thermostat is still "closed".
