You know they are just going to clear the code and ask you to wait and see if it comes back right? haha

Keep us up to date on this. Mine is actually doing something very similar but with how intermittent is currently, I have just been video taping it to get a few good runs of it.

I can post up my own videos if you want to "compare notes" or whatever.

Also, you in Houston still?

jburke26 07-10-2013 04:53 PM

LOL! Man that sucks! Hopefully they will take **** back soon!

Red__Zed 07-10-2013 04:55 PM

A few drops of hot sauce instead of the salt and lime completely kills the aftertaste.

megalapagas 07-10-2013 07:07 PM

My CEL light has been on gor like a year now ever since I installed my K&Ns, it shows that its P0106 (Barrometric Pressure Sensor) <--no clue, anyways just thought to chime that in but back on topic....GL with getting a responce from nissan:tup:

olddudesrule 07-10-2013 08:20 PM

Did the CEL come on while you were on the way back from TX, or since you returned? Not that is makes much difference, just curious.

I didn't drive that fuckíng POS to TX, there is NO WAY it would've made it there, let alone back...

My dad took it out a few times and he said it broke down on him and the CEL came on... He said it was really dangerous because of where it died...
Thank god nothing happened because if my dad was injured in any way because of my Nissan breaking TSWHTF to someone

Zoren 370 07-10-2013 09:37 PM

My Z is also throwing a solid SES! What the hell does it means!
Is it like STD with cars?

The car won't make it out to the desert or somewhere where I can shoot that thing without waking up the neighbors

Spikuh 07-11-2013 11:20 AM

Alright, here are a couple videos of what mine is doing. The first one is mostly just at idle, the second one involves some actual driving. Video quality on the longer one is pretty bad, but I these videos to myself from my phone so it had to compress them first. May re-upload if I remember to pull them off the phone tonight.

for the mysterious errors like this quick checks are if autoparts stores near you will check the codes for you to see if there is anything pending that isn't persistant or severe enough to throw a light. next step is to get your battery load tested to see if it can hold enough amperage to run the car properly, the voltage may be there from the alternator but get the battery load tested to make sure it can pass all the power on to the car (don't know if i'm explaining this one properly but these car demand a huge amount of electrical power and as you start to lose that things can get a little funny). These are just some quick checks you can do for very little or no money and they catch a lot of missfire issues. I personally had a battery running 13.9 volts was getting a misfire and after a load test on the battery and replacing missfire was completely gone.

If that fails to show a problem then yes you're going to be stuck at the dealer and trying to put up with their BS

Well, I have a code for P0306, misfire on cylinder 6, but I KNOW that it's not the only issue or only misfire.

As for the battery, I have a brand new Nissan battery and a brand new Costco battery that is currently installed. Both have been load tested and are 100%
