I read quite a bit about Red Line oil on BITOG. One member, Saaber1, has torn down numerous engines that have used Red Line oil their whole life. He claims that they are in like brand new condition.

Also, Red Line gets a lot of good rep on BITOG.

You will pay more, but its always worth it in my mind if you can run it with confidence.

Royal Purple 5 W 30 sure isn't cheap either, especially every 3,000 miles.

I think RL can handle it, but Ill be doing UOA to be sure! Ill be watching these UOA that are being posted very carefully. My 350 could go 7.5K on Syntec with 3.97 TBN left so Im optimistic for RL performance to exceed that.

My dealer "claimed" that they put Nissan ester oil in there but who knows? it was a FREE oil change. It's simply his words, that's it. That's why I only drove 1400 miles on it
