I have this kit along with the dealer installed KARR alarm unit. Just curious, on the first click of the lock button, does it set off your alarm? I have

I have this kit along with the dealer installed KARR alarm unit. Just curious, on the first click of the lock button, does it set off your alarm? I have a feeling that my alarm and this kit doesn't play nice together.
A workaround that I have found to prevent the alarm from going off is to click unlock prior, to clicking lock 3X.
