Still in for Manual Start Kit! |
Bump again for manual kit!
|
Manual kit ftw!

There is a shop local to me, MI, that can do your remote starts. They did mine, but my car is an auto. Try giving Auto Dynamix a call (269) 964-7001.

any manual remote start luck?
|
It should have came from the factory with a remote start...
|
I doubt anything will ever come of a remote start for the manual trans cars, too much liability.

I cant find the thread right now but, one of the guys on our forum just did a successful remote start installation on his manual 370z car. He just wrote up a whole documentation on it so such search around . I just saw it last night so it's very recent. He did it with a Viper system and some relays.

They pretty much have plug and play kits now. Call Auto Dynamix at (269) 964-7001. they are an authorized Viper dealer and have other solutions too.

I did a remote start on my manual 370 back in May... It's actually not that hard except for getting the clutch wires. Those fuckers caused me to cut my arm deep enough to require stitches. Also, better idea to go with a compustar system because our cars don't have a neutral safety wire (required for manual transmissions) which Viper systems need for manual cars.
That being said, have a viper system in my car but the only way I got it to work was by programming the system to think it's an automatic. So I can't park my car in gear and try to remote start it otherwise bad things happen. |
