The difficulty is taking the bumper off.
I think with just a jack, screwdriver and maybe a 10mm socket wrench, I could do the install in 30 min all in |
Edit: You're in Dallas, go to a meet, meet the guys, ask one of them if they can help you

You might need a drill.. Assuming the GTM core uses the same crossmember bracing that the Z1 core does.. Not a huge deal.. just take the bumper off (roughly 18 screws / bolts, 10 push pins) and a 10mm socket to unloosen the washer bottle a bit. Then route the lines, tighten down the bolts for the core, attach the hoses at both ends. Torque down the sandwich plate adaptor and you're good :). Go to Z1 and download their PDF for installation. Takes about an hour.. Good Luck :)

Did you read the DIY oil cooler install on this forum? It's very comprehensive, and should answer most of your questions. Nearly every mod is gonna have minor issues, here and there, but you can do this one. I did it with a Z1 25 row cooler a few weeks ago. No issues, and just some minor fit mods needed.
