Issues shimming Quaife with 4.08
 
Just wondering if anyone else had any issues shimming the Quaife LSD with the 4.08 gears. I've got mine at a shop and they said they ordered a full Nissan shim kit and even still couldn't get it to set correctly. They are having to get shims basically custom made to get everything set correctly. It's not a big deal to me since they already told me that its a flat rate install for my cost. I was just wondering if anyone else had any issues like this while having theirs installed.

Never had an issue when I had the same diff and gears installed on my 350z. The shop I took it too custom makes their own shims, so wasn't a problem. So how did everything turn out?

i did but i'm a machinist so i just made some up to suit
