P2A00 Code: Won't Turn Off
Hi all,
I've read all the posts on here about people getting the P2A00 code. There doesn't appear to be any resolution on those other posts, so I'm wondering if anyone else has found a solution. It first came on when I raced a Mustang a few months ago on the highway. Now even when I reset, it comes on a few days later. I live in a foreign country (it's a US spec car though) where getting any kind real service is out of the question (Nissan won't look at my car here because it's foreign imported). So I need to figure this out on my own if possible. If it's an O2 sensor, what does that mean? How do I fix it? Or could it be something else? Daisi |
Try one of the following. If it doesn't work, try the other.
Clean the MAFs. Easy job and you can find MAF cleaner at most auto parts stores. Search for "idle air relearn" and follow the procedure. If that doesn't work, you may need to replace the sensor(s). |
I had one to. Taking my car apart it was a exhaust leak. Some of the bolts got a little loose. Not really loose just not tight as they could of been
