Replacing the oil temp gauge and sensor with aftermarket one

I will be replacing the stock gauge with an aftermarket one. Does anyone know if I can just pull the stick oil temp sensor out and replace it with the

DriftKr6l Base Member Join Date: Mar 2013 Location: Elk Grove Vlg, Ill Posts: 166 Drives: 09 370Z, 10 GT-R Rep Power: 13	Replacing the oil temp gauge and sensor with aftermarket one I will be replacing the stock gauge with an aftermarket one. Does anyone know if I can just pull the stick oil temp sensor out and replace it with the after market one, or will the car go into limp mode because the ECU will not be seeing oil temps?
