Was any electrical work or any other work done prior to the failure. Modules like this rarely fail.

Wow. They said a rat chewed the transmission wiring harness. About 2K including labor to fix. I dont know what to say

Also rabbits. But rats and mice are a common problem especially if you park outside and the car isn't daily driven.

The main wiring harness is $1,486.48 online (discounted).

I'm guessing it's the 24011-Z34002 EGI harness which online is $629.00. I wouldn't want to try and replace it though, pretty nightmarish.

I'm not touching it. Gonna have someone other than Nissan to install it. They charge $1000 just for labor

Like I said the price is only a guess based on your vehicle and suspected damaged area. You should get the exact part # of the piece that is damaged so you can be sure you are getting the correct piece.
