I have AAM. Coolant temps are better than when I had my GTM kit.. I think the reason is the AAM intercooler sits farther back allowing some air to bypass the intercooler.

I had a Mishimoto on my FBM turbo kit on my Fr-s prior to making the right choice on getting my Z. Ran it for about 2 years prior to selling that car and had no issues with fitment, cooling, or leaking. FWIW of course.

to see if we can show them there is enough interest to warrant production

Has anyone here used the HPI with a boosted Z?

I would like to get the HPI but I have not heard anything at all about its performance and reliability, no reviews of any kind.

Adding to the mix. My car overheated due to low coolant. I had her towed home. I have been topping off the coolant every month since install and didn't mind it. Well, now I do. I sent CSF CS a email and gave them a rang. I got a hold of Ken and he told me to forward him my email. I guess I heard him wrong because I can't sent the email to the address he gave me (he was running out the door I think. It was almost 5pm). Anyhow, I'll have to call CSF again and see about that email address. Anyhow, Ken verbalized that warranty is 2 years from purchase date, not lifetime.

Well, lets see how this plays out. As is, I have a car down and lots of time and $ spent but I have faith.

you can see the drop at the bottom here.

under pressure and soap/water sprayed on it.

Bubbles noted at each arrow. LOTS of bubbles.

I got a hold of CSF again and was told to email them again which I did.

I tried to get help with CSF a few times. I called and spoke to Ken, sent emails to Ken and customer service. I got nothing. I was simply told to send an email and they would reply within 48hrs. Well, that was on 12-12-17. I have tried and called a time or two since then. I got nothing. What a waste of $$ and a piece of junk!!!! I will never again recommend CSF to anyone. $500 for a radiator, $ to evacuate and recharge the AC system the first time. Now that it's busted, I put my OEM one back on and now need to pay once again to have the Freon recharged. All this trouble, effort and LOTS of time wasted! I'm not one to pinch $$ or skimp on tool and work. I'm no prefessional but I consider myself very handy. Anyone that has read and followed my car build knows this.

So, as far as I'm concerned, CSF is total JUNK, TRASH,, RUBBISH! DO not buy CSF radiator. CSF is not worth the time, money and effort!

It suck that happen bro! When i did my turbo build that was the only area i didn't do in terms of cooling...the damn radiator. I have read too many problems with this aftermarket radiators that i just decided to keep running the OEM one and 3 years in and still running pretty damn good.

Seems like both radiators have their issues.

I'm glad it's working out for everyone. I invested in it. It was darn good when it lasted. But, it didn't last long at all. Personally, I don't feel like I got a lemon. There are too many issues with a supposedly drop in replacement. People having dripping drain plugs, drain plugs busting, leaking from cooling fins like mine. There is no way you can slap "quality" or "professional" on something like that.

I don't know what temps my car will run with boost and OEM radiator but it's better than $650+ down the drain and a tow ride home. I rather park my car and cool her down after a run or two down the strip than on the side of the road overheated like I was.

I have been running the oem radiator as recommended by my TT installer since day one just over four years now. I never had an issue with temps until I started tracking the car and Sebastian at Specialty Z and I discussed my options which did not include either of the two aftermarket radiators mentioned so far. The only one that he felt had any real merit was the Ron Davis custom radiator for the 370z. It requires modification of your front engine bay and you have to delete your AC. He suggested I open up my front bumper to let more airflow in before spending significant dollars on radiator change. So far that has worked even on track days over 100*.

The other thing you need to consider is that those aftermarket radiators are thicker than the oem and don't allow as much space between it and the intercooler therefore despite the other issues you may not make much headway on keeping your temporary down. Long story longer...stay with your oem. Just my two cents worth of nothing lol!

Lol, yup! I also started using Water Wetter as well. I don't drive the car if temps get down in the 30's which is only for a few hours when there is a cold spell that comes in.
