My tuner has a pile of their failed parts in the corner. We joke that friends don’t let friends put Mishimoto parts on their car.

Well Koyo has finally released it but it's competition only, AKA no AC condenser......

Nice. Hopefully they make one with a condenser next.

Wonder if you could use the factory condenser?

well, I have to add myself to the list. I was doing some spirited driving on my way to the beach and..... there goes all my fluid.... I did have it for three to four years. I now need a replacement and really don't know were to turn >.<. Is there any were we can turn? I really don't feel good about using another one of there products after this one leaked, and all the comments on the same thing happening to others.

That’s my thought. I’m ok with a little loss in efficiency. **** I have an intercooler in front of my radiator and I’ve still not had any issues even in Houston heat.

After my third one I called it quits. Purchased an OEM on car-part.com and had Nissan in Gainesville, Florida install it for me. No more worries. Aluminum radiator is pretty unnecessary in my opinion, unless you're seriously tracking the Z. Investing in an oil cooler would be a much more appropriate expenditure of funds.

I'd go CSF after my recent debacle with Mishimoto.

I canceled an order via email 5 days before it shipped. Ten minutes after I received the shipping email I called and asked why it shipped if I canceled 5 days previous. I was told they haven't read their email from 5+ days back. I asked what good is having an email account then. I was then told if the shipping department couldn't catch the box before it left the building with the transit company I'd be charged a 10% restock fee. I argued that its no fault of my own that they don't check their email and their response was that's our policy. Of course my final words were that's **** customer service. Called my CC company next and disputed the entire charge.

After this experience I call BS on their whole, "we'll replace if you're in an accident claim."

So there ya go outed over $4, hope they're happy.

I think I am going to get one of these. I know better than to not get something. I have been down this rabbit hole before. As soon as I get stuck in stop and go traffic in the South Georgia heat the temps will climb and may not stop. It will drive me crazy if I don't do something. I will just classify this as a maintenance cost of going boosted and it will need to replaced every 2 years. Labor will be free. I just don't want to cut holes in my car.

Super old thread, but I remember reading this prior to purchasing a CSF from Z1 back at the end of 2019 so figured I'd provide an update.

I purchased mine in August 2019 and it failed in the same location discussed on here. It was a class 1 leak for maybe three or four weeks. Fluid levels looked fine, but I could smell the coolant and saw the buildup where the fins meet the tank when I inspected it. Today it turned into a class 3 and was losing a little more fluid than I was comfortable with.

It lasted just over 4 years and 23k miles. NA I would see average coolant temps around 220f during the summer in AZ. I put the CSF radiator in at the same time I did the SC, and I don't think I've seen it above 204f during normal operating conditions. Maybe I'm retarded, but I ordered another one despite what I'd consider a short lifespan due to the temp difference.
