Clutch Pedal Sticks

I finally got my car broken in and decided to go out and beat on it a bit. I noticed the clutch when I am shifting hard at redline sits on the floor for a second after i lift my foot off then it comes up. Is this the CSC failure or something else. I have a 2013 so I don't know if I have the updated part?

Does this happen after a while of beating on the car?

There's a TSB out there to change out the fluid to the gtr brake fluid (higher wet/dry boiling points). Might be air in the system too.

No just happens right away. Only when im shifting hard high rpm.

I had that happen a few times when my car was new, just after break in. however, It went away and has not happened in a long time.

Just noticed it will do it anytime. Was popping the pedal sitting in my driveway. Maybe the stock helper spring is slowing it from returning?

Give it some time to loosen up

this is a strange issue that hasn't been discussed before on the forum

csc

It does have a whiff of CSC. Bleed and change the fluid to see if it corrects. If not, CSC time. Under warranty I am guessing?

yup sounds like the CSC...exact same thing happen to me. took it in to get look at and dealership confirmed it.

Car is BRAND NEW. Took out the clutch pedal helper spring completely. This was causing the issue. As soon as the spring started putting pressure on the pedal is when it was hanging up. Slowing the return of the clutch.

^^That's what the assist spring does, but the clutch pressure plate is supposed to over come this. If it can't/doesn't, then you got problems.

It does overcome it. I am just picky and noticed it. I am used to drag racing mustangs with cable clutches which are instant. This was delayed. Really hard to explain. Either way clutch is 10x better now. Anything slowing down the clutch pedal during hard shifting is no bueno.
