Less worry about it failing, less movement if your turbos are close to the frame, quicker and more efficient delivery of power to the wheels by eliminating drivetrain misalignment and twisting that absorbs hp. In some cases it can actually make the car stiffer by using the engine to brace the crossmember

Thanks for the response 1slow370. However I am Twin SC. Would that make a difference? I am asking as I've purchased the set from Z1 (Poly Urethane Engine Mounts) and I was looking to have them installed this weekend in my G37x AT.
Mind you it is pricey to install the bit** cost is comparative to installing Headers. Do you think it is worth it? Last edited by warpeacelove; 10-16-2014 at 06:44 PM. |

Well just so you know the Z1 Motorsports 370Z/G37/R35 Urethane Motor Mounts fits the AWD model.
Z1 Motorsports 370Z/G37/R35 Urethane Motor Mounts I just want to know if this is a worthy mod to invest in and does it help to Put the power to the ground more effectively? |

If you have a manual transmission the biggest benefit from stiffer trans mounts is that your shift gates are consistently in the same spot each and every shift whether under load or not. This makes it much easier to shift smoothly especially when on a track. In The bmw e36 crowd this was one of the best mods to help prevent the "money shift".
