I don't know yet cuz i try to test drive both. As it stands right now I am forced to agree with you that I prefer the auto, but I definitely don't HATE the manual. I noticed on the 13 models the Z is notchy but positive. It gets into gear perfectly and is much better than the 09, 10 and 11 cars (test rove all years except 12.) If the manual felt like the 13 in 09/11. I might have been swayed. But with dummied down shocks and less steering resistance. Nissan improved the manual and downgraded two other things they had right. throw in corny DRL strip lighting and the 13 is a lose. the auto and manual might be rated for the same torque, but the auto feels like it has 30 or 40 more lbs of torque. Thats another story though. So the answer is. right now, i do prefer my auto over the comparable year manual. Quote:
