The Flexpipe will crack! (All the weight of the exhaust will be put on it causing stress, and the ONE time you scrape, it'll be done)

The rubber exhaust hangars are enough to flex/move with the engine moving

Check you Litespeed titanium Y pipe. It's only $450 and it has flex pipes.

Flex pipes are NOT advantageous, I promise...
Btw, FI has a good quote for why they don't use flex pipes (they mention cost, but that's not the biggest issue) and OEM doesn't have flex pipes, so why would you add them

Maaaaaan...
I don't know, you're at a 50/50 on your car of TS and Amuse...
I want you to go with TS because I've never seen one...
But I doubt they'd sound exactly the same, probably just really similar

If you DO decide to go with TS I know this place in Houston that will give you a good deal!!! :stirthepot:

No. I've had them, OEM has them etc to last a life time! Can steel or SS be welded to titanium? I don't think anyone in the world would spend time on making titanium flex pipes. Although I don't think they'd work. Same reason you can't bend Ti, you can't have it bend over and over again. It just cracks and breaks.

Umm yes they do! And ALL other manufactures use donut gaskets with spring bolts that work just like flex pipes. Everyone in the world uses one or the other. FI is the only person if they were a car manufacture to NOT use a type of flexable system. I think they're dumb or cheap for doing it and I hope people don't crack heads or exhaust manifolds. No offence to FI but they don't have billion dollar engineers like nissan, Subaru, Honda, BMW, etc etc have.
