Default 2009 Touring - Orange key light next to gas gauge, drain the battery?

First time I ever had to jump my 370z since I got it. I only drive it on the weekends.

I replaced the battery in both fobs about 4 weeks ago with the correct voltage batteries. Ever since I had the orange light on the next to the gas gauge. It's never steeing locked on me or anything like that. Lets me drive the car.

One week after that, I drove my car. Went out and came back. The weekend that followed I went to start the car, it was totally dead. Thought to myself, I mustve left a dome light on or something. Nope. Nothing left on.. thought it was odd. Jumped it, let it run and used it that weekend. Parked it back on sunday night made sure absolutely nothing was on inside. Closed up my car.

I came home last night after being out without my car.. walked by my z and noticed the orange led keylight was still illuminated. I thought maybe I never noticed it before, went in and went to sleep.

Go to drive it now, open the door and I hear the window motor ticking cause its not getting enough juice cause the glass slides down an inch. Im like wtf is that.. battery dead again?!? wtf!. Go to start it. yep.

Probably time for a new battery, if you're still on the original. Had to buy a new one for my 2009 just a couple of months ago. I've never had one last longer than 4 years.

I bought a new battery too. I also keep mine on a battery tender if I'm not driving it for awhile.
