Not sure I bought the right car!
Hello all, I'm new to this forum. Just got a new 2013 touring model with automatic tranny (thanks to wife) and after reading all the threads on oil consumption and other various issues, is the Z worth keeping or should I get rid of this soon? I had a 2006 Z before this one and was pretty satisified with it.

You are so right, the Z has nice curves and all with a killer *** end as far as I'm concerned. The interior is such an improvement over the '06. |

Don't worry about it. Every car model out there is going to have some issues. The issues were also mostly the early 09's. I've had a few issues, but for the most part the warranty covered everything. Don't lose sleep over it. Get an extended warranty if it makes you fell better.

Judging from what I've read on the site, Nissan has done a good job of fixing oil consumption problems under warranty. Maybe but not perfect, but it looks like most of the difficulties customers have experienced are due to less-than-stellar dealers. The only real problem I have with Nissan is their failure to address the steering lock problem, but it looks like Nissan is finally attempting to rectify the situation. We'll see. I'd buy another one. Lots of fun to drive and, so far, no problems worth bitching about (knock on wood).

13's have most of the small issues worked out, except the people (myself included) that think the 09-12's are better looking haha. CG's on the ride.
