If it's still under warranty? Why can't you just let the dealer fix it?

I would put the stock one back on and take it to a different dealer.

Good luck!

You have to remove the upper intake manifold. The valve cover isn't cheap. Remember to buy the a new valve cover gasket and intake manifold gasket. Or put your stock intake back on and go to another dealer and hope the previous dealer didnt notate your history about having the aftermarket intake. Did you break it installing the intake system?

Look in the FSM. I havn't done it on a VQ before but I've swapped valve or rocker covers on just about everything else. Just take pictures as you go so you remember where everything came from, order a new gasket with the v/c and get some RTV.

I have two spare valve covers in my garage. IIRC they just have a rubber seal. If you need just a part off of one of them or the whole valve cover just send me a PM. Taking them off isn't all that hard. If its the part I'm thinking of, you could probably just replace that one part and not the whole valve cover.

If you have a picture of what you broke, it would help.
