Default Clutch pedal ticking feeling?

Hello I own a 2012 base model and have the oem stock clutch. When I first start the car and drive around for about 10 mins the clutch pedal feels normal. After that when I release and hold the clutch pedal near the floor I feel this ticking or bumping feeling on the pedal. Is this normal? I bought the car brand new and it just started doing it after I put 5k miles on it. Ive checked the fluid levels and everything seems fine.
Anyone have the same feeling with the clutch pedal disengaged or know what it is?

I know exactly what you are talking about. I have know idea what the cause is though, or if it is a bad or normal situation.

I've got the same thing happening on my 2010 12k miles. Feels like someone is flicking the bottom of the clutch pedal when it's fully depressed.

Seems like it is a common thing for the stock clutch then. I have heard a lot about the CSC problems and hoping thats not a distant sign or anything...

Does this happen when the trans is in neutral also?

I think (when the clutch is fully depressed), the throwout bearing is being used at 100% and this may be what you are feeling. The spinning of the bearing is being transmitted through the pedal. I think my 40th does this as well (12K) and as long as there is not squealing or grinding, I don't worry about it.

I did not think about it possibly being from the throwout bearing but yes the feeling does happen when in neutral as well. I havent checked if it occurs in others gears which i will try the next time it occurs.

When I got mine I also searched and asked and the only explanation I received was its a Z thing. So......welcome to the club my boy
