Yes p[lanning on the lube, helped with the Radiator hoses...Is the brake booster hard to get at?

Not really just be careful with it because you dont want to push it into the firewall too much

I was about to order one myself, I'm assuming you've done this mod already?

Can you put up a pic or two of it so I know which one it is please? Thanks!

It's the hose on the left side of the pic (closer to windshield)

That's a fun little hose to get off. :icon14: I used a razor blade to slice the old hose at the firewall. Got tired of playing with it, and it was winning. When I put the new hose on. I put Dow Corning 111 silcone o-ring lube around the nipple first. It went right on.

Wish I had the same luck with my z1 hoses. Actually had to put the ends in boiling water and use lube to get them on. The lower wasn't to bad but the upper on going on the plastic elbow was impossible. Only could get it on halfway. Luckily it past pressure testing and doesn't leak. I actually was debating putting the stock on back on till I talked to z1 to get another but couldn't get it off. So I'm leaving it for now. Z1 said I can buy another one then return the one I have and if the inside diameter proves to be smaller then it should I can get a refund. I think I may just buy another as a spare just in case it ever starts to leak. But it doesn't look like it will.

Z1 said the inside diameter of their hoses that they had in shop measured 32-33mm I didn't measure mine before it went on but I measured the outside diameter of the plastic elbow on my radiator and it measured 35.5mm so who knows. I wonder if maybe there was just a bad batch maybe? All I know one of easiest things I should have ever had to do to the car turned into a huge hassle. Oh well sh!t happens

Well the hose especially the radiator one needs to have a tight fit. So I assume they did it that way so that it wouldnt slide off easily.

Thanks for the pic! :tiphat:

I wasn't 100% sure if it was inside the engine bay, or if it is the one inside the brake area. This one:
