Engine
450-500
500+

Tranny
Up to 550ish?
550+

Clutch
Up to 300tq
300+

Upgrade the clutch, boost to 450-500, call it a day

18500 miles of over 525rwhp on my car. no track use but boosted very hard every day, several times a day. definitely a reliable engine at 525rwhp. I dynoed 524rwhp and turned up the boost 2 weeks later and never turned it back down.

Is this wheel horse power or brake horse power your talking about?

edub370 12-25-2012 03:52 PM

Whp

Baer383 12-25-2012 05:15 PM

550 at the wheel is about where the limit is ,the rods are going to give before anything else.

elperuano 12-25-2012 06:39 PM

^torque is what kills the rods not horsepower.

If you stay below 550rwhp then you really don't need to worry about TQ.
