With the steering wheel issue, are people able to eventually start their car? I am wondering if I can rule that issue out.

My steering wheel lock is not broken, but I removed the fuse anyhow, but my car still will not start. Any other ideas? I've tried resetting the ECU and I'm going to try and resync the key fobs tonight. Is there a chance that when I push the clutch in to start the engine that a signal is not getting sent allowing the car not to start? I know I'm reaching for straws, just trying to cover every base before i take the car into the dealer.

Yes. It is possible (and, judging by your symptoms, very probable) that the clutch switch is bad or misaligned. Download the FSM from this site and it will help you diagnose and repair the problem.

Thanks for the help.

Turns out it was the clutch switch. The tracks were misaligned.

I know this is kind of old, but being that I recently changed the switch too, I'm curious as to how it got misaligned? I noticed the metal frame is somewhat easy to bend with enough force... to much stomping the clutch maybe?
