Kind of embarrassed that I don't know what this is so don't flame me please :ugh2::ughdance:

Can anyone help me out? What's that part that's leaking and what's it gonna cost me to fix? Thanks!

ok so it appears that this is the differential bushing? Is that right? What's my best option here? My factory warranty expired last month....go figure

Ah yes. That's an expensive fix because of the labor.

They may still fix it under warranty actually. Be very nice and bring the service dept. a box of donuts when you take the car in!

Dang how did that happen?

I'm gonna see if I can get it under warranty otherwise I'll go somewhere else for cheaper labor. Only issue is getting a new one. Based on my searching I don't think Nissan sells just the bushing, they make you buy the whole subframe.

Are there any good aftermarket replacements????

No idea. Seems like this is somewhat common for Z's

Ouch... I'm getting mine checked tomorrow. Getting clunking noise at low speeds when getting in gear and in between shifts. In reverse, the whole car shakes and clunks repeatedly if I'm not careful with the clutch. It's not too bad in 1st.

With a bad bushing, you'll get bad wheel hop off the line.

Check with Whiteline. They offer urethane bushings for the 350Z, but it has been almost a year since I last checked on their progress with the 370Z.

Myron_Nismo 12-12-2012 07:04 PM

I don't think Whiteline makes them for the 370. I don't see it on their site. Are there any aftermarket replacements?

I see that SPL makes some, however they don't list the price. Anyone have these?

Would these be too noisy for street use?

Myron_Nismo 12-12-2012 10:02 PM

I personally wouldn't get the solid ones. It'll be too rough for daily driving.

Yeah that's what I thought. I can't find another company that makes bushings for the 370
