How much are these? How much do places typically charge for install?

You will need Z1 test pipes also. Call them for best pricing. To install can be costly also. Headers take some time. I'd guess about 7+ hours. Then a tune after.

I'm just glad I do all my own work. But I've done this several times. I know our cars pretty well.

Sound awesome, congrats.

Why are the test pipes needed? Were these headers designed for the 350Z?

djtodd 12-14-2012 11:51 AM

yep

Yes. The flanges are different.

Now the question I have for Z1, what are the plans to build a compatible set for the 370z without needing 350z TP?

Yutnaka 12-15-2012 08:24 AM

There was another thread stating that z1 was going have them recreated to their specs after SEMA.

Dyno Jet Results from Z1

Went to Z1 Motorsports today to see my results from headers on a Dyno Jet. So here they are. Hoping to break 330 but any given day on the dyno. Still happy

Still strong numbers. Interesting looking at your torque curve, easier to see on this dyno chart. Making good power and doesn't drop off up top. Just wondering why it dips and goes flat again?

SPOHN 12-15-2012 04:46 PM

It's always done that. Sometimes its not as bad. I haven't paid attention to other peoples graphs though.

16 HP is still impressive. We're you tempted to let Z1 do a VVEL tune?

Not really. I want to see results from the VVEL and let someone else have the trail and error of it. I'm more than happy and with all the weight out of my car it pulls hard.

Megan370z 12-15-2012 05:41 PM

a very similar dyno sheet as what I got the last time I went on the dynojet

Congratz:tup:
