If your issue is the steering lock, then I'm going to guess you have an ESCL Revision D (still very prone to failure) and that Nissan will not do anything

If your issue is the steering lock, then I'm going to guess you have an ESCL Revision D (still very prone to failure) and that Nissan will not do anything for you. Only Rev A, B, and C are covered under the recall notice. Your best bet is to bring a rubber mallet with you to wherever you had the car towed. Beat on the underside of the steering column while trying the start button. If you get it started, pull the fuse immediately!! Good luck.
