Default Firiming up auto shift?

Is there any program or valve body to firm up the shifts on the auto? On my 03 lightning I changed my valve body and picked up some mph in the 1/4- not only that but it dosent feel right for any slippage between gears (to me)
thanks, Ken.

There might be a valve body upgrade out but I'm not sure. The 7AT is on one of the FX's right? So it's been out for a bit. Maybe holler at Stillen or Level 10. I'm sure one of the tuners or shops on here would have some more info.

I wouldnt mind this either. It would be nice to not have to switch to the paddles to get a more aggressive shift.

I know the tuners from the Mustang world would incorporate firmer shifts in their AT tunes. It is possible, but I'm not sure how it will work with the Z.

I have an auto with the Stillen grounding kit added...no warranty problems at all. You will feel a slight difference in the speed of the shift and it is a good mod that is relatively inexpensive.

I've heard it's basically simple, and it doesn't require you to do any gymnastics. A grounder should make shifts noticeably faster and the engine slightly more responsive, since the entire car is basically a computer.

Sounds great! I would like a black jacket option (if you're gonna be making them for others), thanks.

I think this would even benefit the M/T's if they have SRM. Probably make it a bit more responsive, I suppose.
