I made more power than you...nanana-booboo! Different dynos, different enviroments, different dyno operators, calibration.... the list goes on and on. I love having my car tuned and dynoed on a low reading mustang dyno. Its even better when people come to the shop claiming big power and leave butt hurt. Makes for a good lol.

Trust me, I know that Dyno Dynamics tend to read low, thats why I'm even more skeptical about your 335WHP...You don't think its odd that you don't even have LTH's or shortys with heat soaked style intakes, yet you have numbers higher than 99% of the members on here? Any dyno can read high. You do know they have to be properly calibrated right? :p

No need to be defensive. Hey, its a forum, discussions and debates is why we're here right? As long as your Z was tuned properly and you can feel the gains is all that matters :tiphat:

I know they need to be calibrated and yes I even questioned my own numbers that day. I posted before that I even said something to the tuner and he was surprised bc he has done many uprev tunes in Z's. He said they keep up with the maintenance on the Dyno and use the same correction all the time. So I have to believe him I suppose. I also have to believe that being in an indoor Dyno room with huge exhaust fans and front fans running its also optimal conditions as opposed to being in a hot humid open shop bay. It was hot a$$ day in June in VA and it was cold in the Dyno room. Also maybe my car just liked those intakes and exhaust combo with the test pipes. I mean I guess I can do some runs on a diff Dyno for comparison but I don't have TP's anymore and why spend the money if I'm happy with my results. Not being defensive all in good conversation I figured I would participate in the thread given its title and my results given i came close w/o headers or vvel tuning :tiphat:

best thing to always do is go to a dyno day with many other 370z's.

If the dyno reads high or low at least you can compare to where other z's are sitting.

yup, I havent seen anything available on the public software with my Pro Cable.

I talked to Uprev right before new years about ordering my cable. According to them VVEL tuning is on the back burner right now so they can work on the Juke and direct injection. Once that's done they'll get back to VVEL.

The big reason they won't release it to everyone is that right now it's possible to crash the valves into the pistons with no safety to prevent this.

Subscribed. I'm doing this once Z1 puts out their version of these headers.
